1 Sep 2010: College classes are starting up all across the country. Will you join us in praying for wisdom for the many professors who are desiring to share their heart for Christ and for missions with the students in their classrooms?

30 Aug 2010: LightSys' Monday Prayer Meeting tonight at 9pm EDT / 6pm PDT. How can we be praying for *you*?

26 Aug 2010: Tomorrow morning (Friday), Tim and Patricia will start off on their next trip "to the West Coast." It will take them to Portland and Seattle, Los Angeles, Arizona, Colorado, Toronto, and Delaware (among other places). Ok. So "West" is relative. They will be back sometime in February.

ICCM: The International Conference on Computing and Mission is an annual informal (no ties allowed!) gathering of women and men with a common interest in computers and missions, who share a vision of cooperation for the effective use of technology to bring the Gospel to every nation.

team Back in 1999, it was just Tim and Greg launching this adventure. Tim had his minivan and laptop, and Operation Mobilization USA had agreed to allow LightSys (and Greg) to be based out of its office. Today, our team has grown quite a bit and we're excited about what the future holds.

How We Serve...

Tim and Robert, in front of minivan, getting ready to travel For many reasons, we've thoughtfully and prayerfully chosen to live our lives as a faith mission, depending on the Lord for our finances and provision day by day. As a result, we are able to offer our help, serving missions (large and small!) and missionaries free of charge.

We are an evangelical Christian ministry, dedicated to being united around essential Christian doctrines as expressed in Scripture.

Our Ministry...

We are a Georgia non-profit corporation, founded in February 1999 by Tim Young and Greg Beeley. Because we are a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization under the U.S. Internal Revenue Code, contributions to LightSys are tax-deductible. We are governed by a five-member board of directors, only two of whom are LightSys staff members.
